FAQs
What is the Tarot? And how does the Tarot work?
The Tarot is a divination tool that allows us to connect with source and tap into our inner wisdom, intuition, and higher selves for personal guidance and information. More specifically, it is a 78-card deck originally developed in Europe in the mid-15th century as a playing game, however in the late 18th century its use expanded as a well known divination tool internationally. The tarot works and communicates to us through imagery, symbolism, and story telling. When our intention is put into the cards and a question is asked, the cards that are chosen will mirror to us the situation at hand, and tap into our subconscious mind. By using our inner wisdom and intuition, we are able to tell the story of the cards and find the answers and guidance are looking for or need to relay.
How would you define or describe yourself as a Tarot reader?
I would describe myself as an intuitive, empathic tarot reader with an empowerment/coaching/healing style. I am working on my crystal healer certification and have training in level 1 reiki. I like to read beyond the tarot messages and intuitively offer suggestions for healing i.e. crystals that could be beneficial in their situation, suggestions for chakra healings, and/or incorporation of oracle cards for final healing messages to help corroborate with the reading.
